Remember that feeling of pride and accomplishment when you put on your white coat for the first time? On May 10, 2024, members of the class of 2026 will receive their white coats surrounded by family, friends and faculty as they affirm their commitment to veterinary medicine. We’re inviting our alumni, YOU, to relive that feeling by sponsoring a white coat for a third-year veterinary medical student.

Will you help launch the career of a veterinary medical student in the best possible way? Gifts made to the Veterinary Medicine fund will help provide a note and white coat for each member of the veterinary medical class of 2026.
A gift of $50 will provide a white coat for one student.
A gift of $150 will provide a white coat for three students.
A gift of $500 will provide a white coat for ten students.
A white coat, funded by alums like you, is a symbolic vote of confidence as they begin their medical careers.

HOW CAN I MAKE A GIFT?
You can make your gift online or by calling 1-800-279-6796. You can also send a check by mail to the Foundation (PO Box 14425, Gainesville, FL 32604-9949). Please make your check payable to the UF Foundation and mention the “VetMed White Coat Campaign” in the memo.
WILL MY CONTRIBUTION BE TAX DEDUCTIBLE?
Yes, you will receive a tax receipt via email after you make a gift.
