SEA TURTLE HOSPITAL ADOPT A WASHBACK
Washbacks are baby sea turtles from this year that made it out to the line of sargassum seaweed over 50-100 miles offshore, but due to fall storms and strong ocean currents they “washed back” all the way to the beach. These hatchings already used all their energy for that first big swim and need our help to survive!

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY CERTIFICATE?
Once you complete your transaction, you will receive an email to the email address you specify with a PDF certificate attachment within one business day.
IS THERE A MINIMUM GIFT AMOUNT?
Yes, you must make a gift of $20 or more to symbolically adopt a washback and receive a personalized certificate.
CAN I SYMBOLICALLY ADOPT MULTIPLE WASHBACKS?
Yes, but only if you make multiple transactions. Only one washback certificate will be emailed per transaction. If you'd like to make a larger gift for more adoptions please contact, Ellie Padgett at elliepadgett@whitney.ufl.edu
WILL MY CONTRIBUTION BE TAX DEDUCTIBLE?
Yes, you will receive a tax receipt via email after you make a gift.
